NJPW New Japan Cup 2026 Night 5 Results 3.10.26: Shingo Takagi & Yuya Uemura Advance in Tournament

The New Japan Cup tournament continued at Night 5 of the NJPW New Japan Cup 2026 event held earlier today at the Shigeto Arena Okayama in Okayama, Japan. Shingo Takagi and Yuya Uemura both advanced in the finals after winning their second-round matchups at today’s event

Takagi and Uemura will now face off in the quarterfinals of the tournament on March 15 in Yamanashi. Below are some results from today’s event, per New Japan’s website:

* Knock Out Brothers (OSKAR & Yuto Ice) beat Masatora Yasuda & Aaron Wolf at 8:40.
* United Empire (Jakob Austin Young, Francesco Akira, Great-O-Khan, HENARE & Jake Lee) def. Tatsuya Matsumoto, Toru Yano, YOSHI-HASHI, Oleg Boltin & Hirooki Goto at 9:30.
* T.M.D.K. (Kosei Fujita & Hartley Jackson) beat The United Empire (Zane Jay & Callum Newman) at 8:05.
* The House of Torture (Chase Owens, Yujiro Takahashi & Ren Narita) defeated Tomoaki Honma, Shota Umino & Satoshi Kojima at 10:23.
* T.M.D.K. (Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.) defeated Unbound Company (Daiki Nagai & Yota Tsuji) at 12:09.
* New Japan Cup Second Round Match: Shingo Takagi beat Don Fale at 9:30.
* New Japan Cup Second Round Match: Yuya Uemura beat Drilla Moloney at 22:28.
