Alex Riley Teases Possible Return To Ring On Social Media

It’s been three years since Alex Riley competed in a match, and he teased the potential of one more bout in a post on social media. The WWE alumnus hasn’t competed since a match for LPW back in March of 2023, one of a handful of bouts he worked in the years following his WWE exit. Riley posted to his Instagram account on Saturday night to show a photo of himself sitting in a ring, and captioned it:
“One more …. Maybe …. @gimmickedmedia @gimmicked_promotions”
As you can see, Riley tagged Gimmicked Promotions Media, which describes itself as a booking agency for “WWE Hall of Famers ,Legends, and Former Superstars.”
Riley, aka Kevin Kiley, is best known for his run in WWE from 2010 to 2016. He competed on the second season of NXT in its reality competition era, being mentored by The Miz. Upon his arrival on the main roster, he allied with The Miz. He would transition to a commentary role in 2013 and had a brief return to the ring for the company in 2015, competing in his last match for WWE in May of 2016 before he was released later that month. He returned to the ring in 2022.
