Note On Early Creative Plans For WrestleMania 43

A new report has some details on the early creative plans as they currently stand for WrestleMania 43. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that the early plans for the April 2027 PLE are now coming together, according to sources. Said sources said that Oba Femi vs. Roman Reigns is currently a frontrunner with many in the company viewing it as a possible main event.

The report cites a source as saying that there is “hope” the women’s side will have a heavy focus on Rhea Ripley, should she be able to come back from injury by then. Ripley has been out of action since she suffered a knee injury at WWE Clash in Italy in late May.

Additional talent expected to have prominent spots on the show include Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, with one source saying that WWE could run back Punk vs. Rhodes for the PLE as the other top-billed match. To be clear, Rhodes vs. Punk was speculation on the source’s side in terms of what could be done, not what is being done.

WrestleMania 43 is reportedly set to take place on April 10th and 11th, 2027. WWE has not yet announced that date officially. The show will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
