Lexis King Wins Men’s Speed Championship On WWE NXT

Lexis King is the new WWE Men’s Speed Champion, winning the vacant title this week’s episode of WWE NXT. King defeated EK Prosper on Tuesday night’s show, the second part of the two-week NXT Revenge, in the finals of a tournament to crown a new champion.
King was accompanied by his Birthright allies to the ring for the match. The final moments saw Prosper hit a backdrop to King on the apron and then Moonsault onto the stable on the floor. Arianna Grace, however, slapped Prosper and Prosper took out Birthright members with superkicks before coming into the ring where where he was hit by a superkick and Coronaiton for the pinfall victory by King and the title. The win marks King’s first run with the title; he was previously the NXT Heritage Cup Champion. The title was vacated by Elio LeFleur after he suffered an injury at an NXT live event. King defeated Chazz “Starboy” Hall in the first round of the tournament, while Prosper defeated Dorian Van Dux to advance to the finals.
