HOOK & Samoa Joe Recruit Anthony Bowens to The Opps on Tonight’s Collision

The Opps finally add a member to the group.
On the April 25, 2026, episode of AEW Collision, Anthony Bowens confronted HOOK and former World Champion Samoa Joe backstage.
He welcomed Joe back to AEW TV and then turned his attention to HOOK, reminding the former FTW Champion about his promise. As previously noted, Anthony Bowens has been trying to cajole HOOK and Co. into recruiting him to the group in recent times. Last week, HOOK told Bowens that he would let him back if he were good enough to join The Opps this Saturday.
Bowens said that he is tired of waiting. HOOK asked him to settle down and then claimed that “there are no more vacancies in the house.”
Joe got in Bowens’ face and reiterated HOOK’s point, but then he said, “We may have found the newest one,” and welcomed him. HOOK told Bowens that he had cleared the test before leaving.

The Opps now boast of Joe, HOOK, Katsuyori Shibata, and Anthony Bowens. The recruitment process started after the group lost Powerhouse Hobbs to WWE and Samoa Joe (temporarily) due to a non-contact injury earlier this year. Joe returned to action this past Wednesday night on Dynamite.
