The Motor City Machine Guns arrived in WWE in the fall of 2024. They made their debuts on the October 18 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. A week later, Sabin and Shelley captured the WWE Tag Team Championship.
However, their reign was short-lived, and the decorated duo was unable to regain the belts during the remainder of their WWE stints. Sabin and Shelley barely featured on TV this past winter.
They returned to SmackDown during the Road to WrestleMania 42, with their last televised match for the company taking place on the March 20 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, where they defeated Fraxiom.
Following their WWE exit, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have received a challenge from the current one-half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, Robbie Eagles. You can read more about that HERE.
