Latest On Baron Corbin Potentially Returning to WWE

Details continue to come out about Baron Corbin potentially making his return to WWE. It was reported over the weekend that the WWE alumnus was being discussed within the company for a possible return, and a report yesterday said Corbin has finished his oblications with some of the indie companies that he’s been working with.

Wrestlevotes Radio On Fightful Select published a new report noting that sources within WWE now believe he will be coming back to the company. Those sources called Corbin a favorite in the locker room and spoke in a way indicating they would like to see him make his return.

Corbin has been working for several companies including MLW, where he and Donovan Dijak are the current MLW World Tag Team Champions. Fightful Select has confirmed he is finished with MLW.

It was, it must be said, noted this morning that Corbin pushed back on reports that he had finished up with indie companies. He noted that he had “accepted [eight] shows in Europe” and “didn’t know I was done with some of these companies.” He did not indicate which companies he was not “done with.”

No word on when Corbin may end up making his return to WWE at this time.
