Baron Corbin Hits Back at WWE Return Claims

Tom Pestock (FKA Baron Corbin) has hit back at reports claiming that he is WWE-bound. As previously noted, Fightful Select and the Wrestling Observer have reported about Corbin potentially returning to WWE in recent weeks.

Yesterday, Fightful Select reported that Baron had completed his obligations with independent companies. The report further cites sources as claiming that Corbin has either signed with WWE or will do so imminently. On X, Baron Corbin denied the claims with a strongly worded post. He wrote:

“Had to correct my horrible grammar. I accepted 8 shows in Europe. My eye is still swollen from Australia. I also didn’t know I was done with some of these companies. Whoever is making my schedule needs to let me know this sh*t. I thought it was me, but apparently it’s not.”

Corbin was a part of WWE for 12 years before being released in 2024. He has since been hugely active on the independent circuit, performing for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling, CMLL, and more. He currently holds the MLW World Tag Team Championship alongside Donovan Dijak. The former Mr. Money in the Bank recently competed at World Series Wrestling’s Rise Against event in Adelaide, South Australia, and Melbourne, Victoria.

The former WWE Superstar wrestled Killer Kross in a No Holds Barred Match for the then-vacant WSW World Title. A day later, he locked horns with Nic Nemeth in a Street Fight. Check out his post below:
