An update on ticket sales for AEW Grand Slam: Mexico 2026.
All Elite Wrestling is set to head to Arena Mexico in Mexico City for its Grand Slam television special this August. This event will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
According to a new report uploaded by WrestleTix on its Patreon [accessed by Wrestling Observer], the company has sold 5,146 tickets for the show so far. While the listed capacity is around 16,500, the lower-level seating capacity is 6,071. Notably, the balcony and stands sections are currently not visible on the map, despite tickets being on sale in both areas.
The current year-to-date average for All Elite Wrestling shows this year is 3,288.
Notably, last year’s Grand Slam: Mexico sold 13,000 tickets. The show was headlined by a 10-man tag team match that pitted The Death Riders, The Young Bucks, and The Beast Mortos against The Opps, Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland. The heels emerged victorious in that match.
AEW has yet to announce a match for this year’s edition. The company is currently busy preparing for its annual crossover event, i.e., Forbidden Door, which is scheduled to take place in San Jose, California, on June 28. You can check out the lineup for the show HERE.
