CM Punk Says He Has ‘Cool Gear’ Planned For WWE SummerSlam

CM Punk already knows what he’ll be wearing at SummerSlam, but don’t expect any hints before the show. The Undisputed WWE Champion recently revealed that he has “some cool gear” planned for the event on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026.

Speaking to Ringside Collectibles during San Diego Comic-Con, Punk shared the update when he was asked about how he decides on his wrestling gear. According to Punk, there isn’t much long-term planning involved. However, with SummerSlam now just around the corner, he said one thing is already figured out.

“I really don’t plan too far ahead. Um, most of the stuff is sort of you’ve got to wait and see based on location. I think, uh, SummerSlam is around the corner. I got some cool gear planned for SummerSlam, but then after that, I really have no idea.”

CM Punk heads into the event as the Undisputed WWE Champion and is set to defend the title against Cody Rhodes. While he isn’t giving away any details, it sounds like he wants his gear to match the occasion.
