Tony Khan Discusses AEW Podcast Network, Says It’s in the Works

The recently signed deal creating a WWE Radio channel on SiriusXM has created a lot of discussion about the future of AEW coverage on shows like Busted Open that will air on WWE’s channel. Given that WWE isn’t in business with AEW at this point, it’s fair to assume that radio hosts on their channel won’t be spending too much time talking about the promotion run by Tony Khan.

The AEW Podcast Network was announced in March as part of the announcements surrounding the introduction of MyAEW. Given WWE’s foray into audio, fans & reporters are now wondering if AEW has an update on theirs. Tony Khan was asked about this during last night’s Redemption post-show media scrum.

On the AEW Podcast Network:

“We’ve been working on it. We’re still planning the AEW Podcast Network with our friends. That is coming. That’s been in the works for quite a while, and it’s still in the works. It’s going to be very good. I’m looking forward to the AEW podcast network as we’ve been planning for a while. It’s going to be excellent.”
