Raquel Rodriquez Wins Women’s Intercontinental Title On WWE Raw

Raquel Rodriguez has captured singles gold in WWE, winning the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on this week’s WWE Raw. Monday night’s episode of Raw saw Sol Ruca put her championship on the line against the Judgment Day member.

Ruca had to deal with not only her opponent, but the other women of the Judgment Day. Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez came out to cause distractions, which Ruca consistently battled through. IYO SKY came out to stop Morgan and they began fighting, but Perez was still able to make her presence known and stopped a Sol Snatcher attempt. Rodriguez was able to hit a Tejana Bomb for the pinfall and title in about 10 and a half minutes.

You can see clips from the WWE Raw match below. This marks Rodriguez’s first singles title on the main roster; she is a five-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. She ends Sol Ruca’s reign at 57 days; Ruca won the title from Becky Lynch at WWE Clash in Italy.
