WWE veteran Trish Stratus recently revealed that she sent a voice memo to Chelsea Green in the wake of the latter’s recent injury.
Green, who was crowned the Interim WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam: Minnesota, suffered a broken orbital bone during a tag team match against Fatal Influence earlier this month.
In a recent conversation with POST Wrestling, Trish revealed she is a big proponent of the idea that everything happens for a reason and opened up about what she advised Chelsea via the voice memo.
“I’m a very big proponent, and everything happens for a reason. I feel like when a lot of girls that have been getting injured, I mean, I just sent a voice memo, a long memo for Chelsea Green, and I was just like, it’s those moments where, like, ‘No, there’s a reason why, or I don’t know, you can wear a face mask, it’s going to be a thing.’ I don’t know, something’s going to be, and there’s a reason. You’ll be like, ‘Oh, sh*t! That’s kind of cool that that happened because of this, you know what I mean?” Trish said.

This past Friday on WWE SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis gave Chelsea Green 30 days to get medically cleared and defend her title if she wants to remain champion.
