An update on what WWE is aiming to achieve from its live events.
House shows have once again become a regular feature in the company, with WWE in the midst of its Summer Tour. The company has held live events in Europe and the USA, and is currently running shows in Canada. It is also set to embark on a tour of South America this September.
According to Fightful Select, sources within the company have stressed that WWE’s main objective is to see viral moments emerge from these events, even if they’re basic interactions between wrestlers who otherwise don’t work together on television.
Recent live events have featured several noteworthy moments, such as LA Knight teaming with Oba Femi, Danhausen linking up with Femi, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes kissing Danhausen, and Kevin Owens delivering a Stunner to Danhausen as a message to Punk.
