Note On Spoiler Of New Talent Debut At MLW Taping

A new talent debuted at the MLW Fightland taping over the weekend, and a new report has details on their status with the company. As reported, Masha Slamovich made her debut at the taping. She competed in a match for the Fightland special itself and also entered into a feud with Shotzi Blackheart.
PWInsider has confirmed that Masha Slamovich has signed with MLW. The report cites sources as saying that she signed with the company in early July, and that the plan has been to align her with CONTRA and have her feud with Blackheart. Her debut is set to air in two weeks on MLW Fusion.
The report also addresses the question of whether Slamovich was put into whatever the plans were for Tessa Blanchard, who was announced for the taping but later pulled. Obviously with the news of her having signed in July, it would seem that her creative is independent of whatever was planned for Blanchard.
MLW did not respond to request from the site for comment on the matter. Slamovich is a former TNA Knockouts World Champion, but exited TNA late last year after domestic abuse allegations were levied against her.
