Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results

SICKOS! It’s Wednesday, you know what that means! AEW Dynamite is LIVE tonight from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and have reached the final destination before we head to the Sunshine State on Saturday for WrestleDream!

BUT, as the late and very great Billy Mays would always say, “BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!” Because, as everyone knows by now, that if we are getting a Saturday PPV during football season, that makes tonight’s episode a three-hour (and more) block of fun with Collison attached!

The name of the game tonight is Clockwork Carnage, more to the point, determining the five empty slots for said match this Saturday. To that end, the winners of Ace Austin-Ricochet, Konosuke Takeshita-Brian Cage, and Adam Copeland-Josh Alexander will all move to the appropriately named match on Saturday. In addition, not only will we get Hechicero-Darby Allin and Kazuchika Okada-Myron Reed, but the both the TNT and International Titles, respectively, will be on the line as well! Tony Khan sure does love his SICKOS!

Elsewhere on the card, we will have multi-person matches galore, starting on the men’s side when Will Ospreay and Andrade El Idolo team up to face Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa, while the latest chapter in the Death Riders-Don Callis Family feud will be written when Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, and Daniel Garcia face Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, and Cleveland’s own Wardlow! On the women’s side, Persephone and Dr. Britt Baker DMD will team up to face Dani Luna and Hyan, while Mercedes Mone joins forces with Divine Dominion to oppose the Triangle of Madness! All of this and, of course, so much more in store for us tonight!

Ordinarily, this is the spot where I ask you, my fine folks, how you are doing (and please let me know!). However, there is nothing that I can say about any of my sports teams (from Philly, at least) without going on an at-length tirade that will drive the insane normal. So, all I’ll say is that it’s great to have Hali back on the Pacers and playing in the preseason!

But enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to make the Dynamite go BOOM before we Collide!

Tonight, Dynamite and Collision are by the lake in Cleveland! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Walker Stewart are on the call!

YOU WANTED WAR! The Death Riders do, of course!

The Death Riders vs. The Don Callis Family

Grandpa Knox is our ref, assuring that there will be no order at all. Garcia to start with Davis. Mark bum rushes Garcia to the corner, Danny is acting the fool getting into Mark’s chest. Garcia with the headlock, to the ropes, and Garcia goes right back to it. Davis to a knee, Garcia escapes his suplex and plays keep away. Dragon Screw and another headlock. Blind tag by Doyle, and the big boys run over Garcia like a Vega got smashed by two 18-wheelers.

Doyle taunts the Death Riders and goes back to working over Garcia. Danny escapes and tags in Kidd. Gabe yells at Wardlow that HE WANTS THAT BIG BASTARD and flips him off. Edgelord, thy name is Gabriel Kidd. Wardlow accepts, both men get in each other’s faces. Chops from Kidd, but he bounces off of Wardlow like he was a tennis ball and Wardlow the clay.

Garcia tries his hand, but Wardlow is like no. The fans want Moxley, so they get Jon! The battle of Ohio is underway, as Moxley can’t knock down Wardlow, but the man with the blue tights has no such issue. Moxley tries to get into the head of Wardlow, literally and figuratively. Wardlow shuts him down with a lariat and he stomps away on Moxley like he was Stone Cold.

Doyle in now, he smashes Moxley once but not twice. The MADMAN is back, and he knocks Wardlow and Davis off the apron. Kidd off the ropes with a comebacker left-handed lariat! After some big men battle, Garcia sees his life flash before his eyes. However, he is able to reverse Wardlow with the double leg into the Dragon Tamer. The fans hate it, but tough shit. Everyone is in now to fight everyone as we hit the break.

Kidd is playing the part of the MADMAN as we return. Doyle says get that shit out of here and goes back to beating up on Danny Dances. But the power of dance compels Garcia, and he is able to smack Doyle with a running lariat! Moxley and Davis get the tag, and the men who will battle this Saturday trade hands! Headbutts from Moxley, body shot from Dunkzilla, CUTTERFROMOUTTANOWHERE by Moxley! Lots of punches, like, more than ten in the corner are issued by Moxley. Davis won’t go down from short lariats, so Moxley looks Death Rider. Moxley escapes the Gutwrench Piledriver and applies the sleeper. Davis escapes, but he gets sent to the apron and Moxley hits a dropkick. Moxley scores with an elbow suicida, while Garcia takes out Wardlow with a Tornado DDT on the floor!

Back in the ring, the Death Riders run the clothesline express over Davis. Kidd tells Knox he is senile, allowing Marina the chance to get in and clothesline Davis! Dragon Tamer from Garcia, Moxley with the stomp to Davis! Doyle and Wardlow make the save, Kidd takes out Doyle, but Wardlow reverses the guillotine from Garcia. Danny looking goozle, but Wardlow is like R U SERIOUS? Kidd is in, and he takes himself and Wardlow to the floor. Garcia leaps out of the ring to attack Doyle, while Davis smashes Moxley with a lariat and the Gutwrench Piledriver for the win!
WINNERS: The Don Callis Family
TIME: 16:10
THOUGHTS: Fairly solid opener, although the action seemed to move at a glacial pace with anyone in the ring not named Moxley and Davis. I guess that is by design since they will square up on Saturday?
RATING: ***1/4

Excalibur runs down the rest of the card for us. The first of five qualifying matches for the is up next, as Adam Copeland and Josh Alexander bring their issues from MLP over to AEW!

BREAK IN PROGRESS!

It’s time to singalong with The Rock The Cope!

Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Adam Copeland vs. Josh Alexander

Lock-up at the bell. I don’t think Copeland outwrestling the man wearing headgear, but I could be wrong. Copeland can win the power part, as he hits a clothesline, a hip toss, and a dropkick to send Alexander to the floor. Copeland tries to hit a baseball slide, but he gets stuck in the apron, and Alexander attacks the leg of Adam. Excalibur says that is the leg he broke when he was TNT Champion. Continuity, the game! It’s time for the break.

Alexander has Copeland grounded and the knee barred as we return. Copeland powers his way free, but he lands wrong on the leg, allowing Josh to hit a chop block. In football, that’s a 15-yard penalty, but in wrestling, it’s legit! Copeland kicks Alexander away, Josh charges back in, but he eats a leaping big boot from Cope! Both men trade hands, down come the straps, and Alexander slaps Copeland. Adam with the double leg and he sends him from the ring. Baseball slide this time connects, and Copeland returns Josh to the ring.

Copeland, despite having a bad leg, goes up top and hits a splash to the back of Alexander. That’s good for a two. Impaler DDT from Copeland, but Adam can’t capitalize. Copeland looking SPEAR, but Alexander throws him to the mat. Alexander initiates the German Suplex Sequence, and on the fourth one, he bridges out for a two. Josh goes for the ankle lock, but Copeland kicks him into the corner. Copeland looks for another SPEAR, but Alexander sends him into the exposed turnbuckle and hits his own SPEAR for a two.

Copeland sends Alexander to the apron, and he takes him from corner to corner. In an ode to his former Rated RKO teammate Randall Keith Orton, ESQ, Copeland hits a springboard CUTTER! Copeland, feeling it is still 2001, heads to the top, but Josh meets him up top. Copeland escapes and drops Alexander face-first on the exposed corner. SPEAR from Copeland so hard it knocks Alexander’s headgear off, and a winner is Adam!
WINNER: Adam Copeland
TIME: 11:20
THOUGHTS: I’m not sure what I expected here to be honest, but it wasn’t a bad match. Copeland trying to roll the clock back by a quarter of a century is definitely a choice, though.
RATING: ***1/4

Post-match, Copeland puts on Josh’s headwear and has the mic. The past few weeks have been hell for us. Five minutes into their match at All-Out, Christian Cage was thrown into a ladder so hard that he suffered three broken ribs and a punctured lung, and yet he was still at the top of the ladder at the end of that match. So, with Cage out, Copeland had to sit down and so some soul searching. He knows he isn’t on the walls of teenagers anymore and he is aging out. He let’s just know that 2027 will be his final year in wrestling. The fans don’t like it, but Copeland says it is time. He gets it, but that is why he has to go for the AEW World Championship.

Don Callis is out with Brian Cage. Callis hates to rain on Adam’s parade, but he wants to let us know that the Family are winning big tonight. Adam may have won the battle tonight, but Don always wins the war. He has just one question for you; what the hell are you doing? Don has known Adam for decades, you should know you don’t make your plans, people like Callis tell you when it is time. Callis is usually right on his predictions, and he doesn’t like his chances to see 2027. In fact, he doesn’t like Adam’s chances to see Clockwork Carnage this Saturday.

As if on cue, Copeland is jumped from behind by Lance Archer, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, and Cage. Konosuke Takeshita and the Conglomeration are here, and the DCF scatter like cockroaches.

Video package highlighting the rules for the Clockwork Carnage match this Saturday, narrated by the Remarkable Renee Paquette.

And we don’t have to wait for that showdown!

Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Brian Cage

Big men trade big blows at the bell. Takeshita turns to a snap Rana, which sends Cage to the floor. Cage back on the apron, and he hits a leaping enziguri. Cage sends Takeshita to the floor, and he hits an Atomico to Konosuke. Cage stalks Takeshita around the ring and beats him up, taking time to break the count. Cage takes time to flex his 100% natural body before sending Takeshita back into the ring. Cage runs into the boots of Takeshita in the corner, but Cage intercepts his jumping knee strike and throws him into the corner. Takeshita tries a piledriver, but Cage sees the saw and hits an Alabama Slam for a two. That will take us to the break.

Big men are trading big shots as we return. Cage thinks he is breaking a German attempt, but Takeshita won’t let go and Brian says OH SHIT as he goes for a ride. Takeshita runs right into a powerbomb. YOU’RE DEAD says Cage as he kicks Takeshita in the face and hits the Area Code Jones! Cage misses the discus lariat, and Takeshita with the Blue Thunder Bomb for a two. Cage looks to lock up Takeshita, but Konosuke is like no man, and he hits a sit-down Tiger Driver for a two.

Cage catches Takeshita with a step-up enziguri in the corner to stop Takeshita’s momentum. Cage with an Avalanche Rana for a two! We’re back to square one with both men trying to clothesline ethe other to the mat. Takeshita hits the corner and either he is a great seller or he is legit hurt. Cage with the outside-inside suplex, but Takeshita hits the Raging Fire! He can’t take advantage, so he’s forced to grind down Cage with strikes. Cage counters with a Discus Lariat for a two. Cage looking Drill Claw, Takeshita counters into a standing sleeper, Cage gets free, but he eats a leaping knee strike. Dragon Sleeper from Takeshita, Cage tries to fight free, but Konosuke cranks back on the sleeper and Cage taps out!
WINNER: Konosuke Takeshita
TIME: 12:20
THOUGHTS: I feel like this match was the best one so far, which isn’t a surprise with Takeshita in there, plus Cage can still go in there as well.
RATING: ***1/2

The new United Empire (or the US version of it) is in the back with Renee for talk time! Ospreay says he came back from Japan and is excited to be involved again. He says he will bring Samoa Joe the fight tonight if he wants it, Bossman. Speedball says he is ready for anyone who comes into the match, and that includes you, Will! The Brawling Birds say they are going to beat the piss out of anyone they face and they call their opponents slags. Andrade tells Ciampa to ask him before he kisses him and he hits his catchphrase.

Schiavone is on the ramp and he brings out FTR and Big Stoke. Harwood says he thought that Tony was good at his job, but he was wrong. Dax says the one thing he wants more than dealing with his greedy ass wife and these fans is to be a Champion. And he wants the Bucks to come out here and tell him why they aren’t the number one contenders. Gee, I dunno Dax, maybe because you lost the last time out?

The Motor City Machine Guns are here in the flesh! Chris Sabin says they have a lot of respect for FTR and what they have accomplished, but we aren’t living in the past anymore, we are looking towards the future, and that future includes the Motor City Machine Guns. Alex Shelley wants to make sure that he understands that FTR have beaten the Young Bucks three out of five times. That gives him an idea, what if MCMG were to face FTR. And not just face them once, but how about we do this in a best-out-of-five series? Stoke says we don’t rock with that here in Cleveland, but we can start this at WrestleDream! Frankly, I’m interested!

We go back to Grand Slam Dynamite France last week with Brodido and Hangman Adam Page. Hangman wants to know what the hell is going on around here with Swerve Strickland. They had the titles, then all of a sudden, Swerve has a team and he is taking their titles. Brody tells Hangman to calm down, and Bandido says this is a 2/3 falls Lucha, meaning the titles and their pride are on the line! All three men threaten us with finger guns.

SMOKE EM IF YOU GOT EM!

AEW International Title Match & Clockwork Carnage Qualifier: Kazuchika Okada (C) vs. Myron Reed

Both men stare at each other from across the ring before the bell. Lock-up, Okada prevails, to the ropes, and Okada fakes the clean break. Reed escapes and implores Okada to bring it. Reed intercepts Okada’s kick and lays in some strikes. Backslide from Reed for a two. Reed with a recoil enziguri that sends Okada to the floor. Reed goes to fly, but Okada back. He misses a lariat, but he doesn’t miss the flapjack. Okada chokes out Reed in the corner as the fans are solidly behind him. Reed tries to fight back, but Okada with one kick puts an end to his offense. Scoop slam from Okada to the top, but he lands on his feet, allowing Reed to hit the Up kick. Reed runs into Okada who hits the over the knee neckbreaker as we go to the break.

Okada looks to hit his sequence as we return. This time, he gets the elbow drop. SINGLE FINGER POSE TIME! Reed takes advantage with a victory roll for a two. Reed with leg drop to Okada in the ropes, Reed with clotheslines and scores with a thrust kick. Reed picks up Okada into the fireman’s carry, drapes him over the top rope and hits the Hang-5 for two. Reed to the top, but Okada rolls out of the ring. He isn’t safe, however, and neither is Reed, as he flies out of the ring and almost lands on his head.

450 Attempt from Reed misses, and Okada hits the dropkick. Rainmaker, no, matrix counter from Reed. Okada stops the CUTTER and hits the Tombstone, but Reed gets out of the ring. Okada laughs like a crazy Okada as he goes to the floor. Okada takes too long and Reed with the back body drop. Reed with another Fireman’s Carry and he hits the Hang-5 off the barricade! 450 off the steps and onto Okada! Myron sends Kazuchika into the ring, 450 meets the knees of Okada who rolls up Reed for a two. Okada latches on to Reed. who kicks him to the corner and scores with the Poison Rana! Another 450 is another miss from Reed, who eats the Rainmaker, and Okada is in the match!
WINNER: Kazuchika Okada (And still!)
TIME: 11:00
THOUGHTS: This was more like it. Reed gave it his all and didn’t back down from the superstar known as the Rainmaker. No way was Okada losing his title and missing out on the Clockwork Carnage match but still was really good.
RATING: ***3/4

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has named MJF as the number one wrestler in the World. Let everyone complain and clutch their pearls lol.

The New Level and Prince Nana are in the back. Creed wants to know where Swerve is, but Nana says he is at home taking care of family issues. He has someone to take his place just for tonight, and its comedian Mojo Brookzz. Sorry, this isn’t doing anything for me. Mojo says he wants to make someone bleed and he is calling out Brody King. Well, it was nice knowing you, Ice-T looking and sounding reject.

Here comes the quartet to the ring. Mojo says makes jokes and act like the tough guy, as Kofi says they are facing three of the best wrestlers in AEW. They know how good they are, and last week, Bandido did beat Kofi. But at WrestleDream, they are going to beat them just like they did at All-In London. Creed takes the mic and says they are going to test just how good their opponents are. Can you outwrestle Kofi again? Can you survive Strickland again? Can you handle me again? He tells Hangman to not let his personal issues with Swerve turn into a professional problem for his friends. Creed says thank GOD for the NEW LEVEL!

By the way, Mojo makes jokes, but they are lame AF, so I’m not going to dignify them here.

The ladies Trios match is coming up, next!

Toxic Spiders and Sisters that Sin, oh my!

The Triangle of Madness vs. Mercedes Mone and Divine Dominion

Team pose ensues as Megan chokes out Julia. Hart with the tarantula, and Skye hits the basement dropkick! Hart sinches in the Flying Octopus, so Thekla and Skye in. Bayne, Kross, and Mone all get free of the holds as we hit the break.

Blue hits the ropes and hits a flying head scissor to Bayne as we return. Skye tries her luck with a counter Rana, but Bayne throws her into the team corner. Mone in with the Meteora, but Thekla and Hart are in. Mone misses a second Meteora, and Thekla is in against Kross. Thekla takes care of Bayne and Mone and hits knee strikes to Kross. Thekla to the top with the diving crossbody for a two. Thekla locks in the Reverse STF, but Bayne picks up Thekla. Megan is put in a guillotine, but Bayne gets back to her feet. Bayne has the ref, Julia spits the black mist in Lena’s face, and Thekla hits the Curb Stomp for the win!
WINNERS: The Triangle of Madness
TIME: 11:10
THOUGHTS: A good, fun match, as we see the continued evolution of Skye and Julia in the ring. With both teams being heels, this one felt weird from a schematics point of view, but it passed the eye test.
RATING: ***1/2

The United Empire face Tommaso and JOE, next!

BREAK IN PROGRESS!

It’s time for some fun tag action!

Samoa Joe and Timmaso Ciampa vs. AEW World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay and AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo

Andrade, with his pants on, will start with Ciampa, who mockingly claps for him. Andrade takes it to Ciampa and sends him to the floor, where he hits a springboard crossbody. Andrade finds the baddie in the front row as Ospreay is not pleased lol. That takes us to the break.

Joe takes the ref so Ciampa can plant Andrade onto the title with a DDT. Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch, and Andrade has to tap out!
WINNERS: Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa
TIME: 14:15
THOUGHTS: This one was quite a fun sprint as the main event of Dynamite, and it sets the mood for the matches these four men will partake in at WrestleDream.
RATING: ****

It’s time for the Collision Hour!

We see Ospreay is tending to Andrade until medical personal show up.

To the back we go, as Renee is looking to get a word with Jon Moxley. She says this is two losses in a row, how is he dealing with this? Moxley proceeds to wreck a bunch of shit in the back. He howls like a wolf caught in a trap, and he tells Renee he is in pain, and he doesn’t know what kind of pain. Marina tells him eyes up and go through. This seems to work for Moxley, who goes over to the other Death Riders and tells them THROUGH.

AH-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match: Ricochet vs. Ace Austin

Austin is an injury replacement for Jay White.

Ricochet is admonished by Aubrey for grabbing Austin’s hair at the bell. Don’t be mad because you’re BALD my dude! HE’S BALD chants as Ricky backflips over a downed Austin with a bridging German for a two.

Ricky pulls Austin towards the corner and heads to the top. Ricky takes WAY to long and misses his move. Austin kicks Ricky in the head and he lifts up Ricky for a variation of the F-5 for a two. Austin looking for the Fold, but Ricky headbutts him! Spirit Gun is loaded and fired! Not content with that, he hits Vertigo for the win!
WINNER: Ricochet
TIME: 11:10
THOUGHTS: Austin had a good showing for someone who was an injury replacement, but Ricky wasn’t losing this match with Jay White out with injury. The show has been much better in the second hour, and this one kicked off the third hour quite well.
RATING: ***3/4

Renee is in the back for a sit-down with the Young Bucks and Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. Apparently, the Young Bucks are not here yet, and Callis tries to creep on Renee. Fletcher says that he was resistant to the idea of teaming with Knight, but they work great together. Kyle says he WOULD be a three-time TNT Champion, but he gave it up for the team. Knight says he is the best TNT Champion of all-time, yeah, he said it, but they work well together. He’s Jordan, Fletcher is Pippen. He is Shaq, Kyle is Kobe, and Callis is Phil Jackson. Callis mocks Renee’s voice, but the fun and games end when the Young Bucks show up to SUPERKICK their challengers. They lay in the attack as Callis runs away. Matt Jackson apologizes to Renee for being late, but he wants her to tell these pricks they won’t be late on Saturday.

Nick Wayne is here to celebrate his BIG win over Jericho. Justin Roberts says he is just 21 and he is the Prodigy of Professional Wrestling. Excalibur says he never spoke over Justin, but he speaks over him lol. Wayne keeps telling us that he beat Jericho, and each time he gets more pyro. The third time he says it, Jericho himself comes out. Wayne complains that Jericho is ruining his celebration before we get a video package of Nick’s valiant win over Jericho last week in France.

Wayne wants to know what Jericho thinks of that? Jericho says Nick left some things out because he knows the video editing crew. They are good friends of his, just like the fans in Cleveland. Luckily for us, Jericho was able to put together the cutting room footage, and we see how Wayne cheated to beat Jericho. Wayne thinks it is pathetic that Jericho is trying to point to this as the reason that he won. Jericho says what is pathetic is how Wayne pretends to be such a big man even though he had to hit him with a low blow. Jericho wants the rubber match at WrestleDream this Saturday. Wayne says you got it; he will embarrass him on PPV. But when Wayne wins, he wants Jericho to apologize. Jericho wants to know why, and Wayne says for calling him a douchebag, for breaking his necklace, for saying he isn’t good looking, does he have to go on. Jericho says if you want me to apologize, then he accepts. Jericho still has some lessons that he needs to learn.

They shake hands like cordial chums, but Wayne wants to know the second reason why Jericho put his video together. Jericho says it was so he could do this, and by this he means kicking Wayne in the nuts. See you Saturday, kid, as Jericho lords over him.

Its ladies tag team action, next!

BREAK IN PROGRESS!

Renee is working tonight, as she has Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa in the back. Ciampa says that he has left Andrade lying unconscious twice, and at WrestleDream, he will make it three times in a row and take his title. Joe says that he will have his eyes on the eighth and final spot in the match, but he will choke out everyone in the match, so pay attention to my warning, gentlemen. 100x the promo that we just got from Nick and Jericho.

Dani Luna and Hyan vs. Dr. Britt Baker DMD and TBS Champion and CMLL Women’s World Champion Persephone

Britt Baker is spinning a Terrible Towel in Cleveland. It’s not like they have much leverage anyway, despite the fans barking like dawgs. Hyan opens with a John WOO dropkick to Persephone. Hyan with a baseball slide to Baker as she is distracted by Hyan. Back in the ring, and Persephone stomps out Luna but Dani fires back with a corner clothesline. Persephone goes to run, but Hyan grabs ahold, so Baker grabs the foot of Hyan. Both ladies fight free, as Persephone hits a Tilt-A-World Backbreaker on Hyan, as Baker hits a DDT on the floor to Luna as we hit the break.

Hyan scores with a big boot to Baker, who finally dropped the terrible towel. Persephone and Luna in now, single leg knee strike. Luna catches Baker with a boot and hits a missile dropkick to Persephone. Luna intercepts Baker trying to sneak into the ring, and Luna brings her into the ring with a Superplex! Folding Powerbomb from Luna, but Persephone is out at two. Blind tag by Hyan, and Persephone with a bridging German, but Paul Turner tells her she isn’t legal. Hyan with a big knee strike. Falcon Arrow from Hyan, but Baker is in and she chokes her out with the towel. Baker gets the tag, but Hyan hits her with the SPEAR for a two.

Tag to Luna, who picks up Baker, but Persephone intercepts Hyan and slams her face-first into the announce table! Baker with a pump kick, rip cord lariat, and a neckbreaker, but Luna is out at two. Persephone grabs her TBS Title and looks to hit Luna, but she almost smacks Britt. Luna shoves Baker into Persephone and rolls her up for the win!
WINNER: Hyan and Dani Luna
TIME: 10:15 (Best guess, forgot to start it before the break!)
THOUGHTS: Pairing Luna with Hyan with Maya World out is actually a good idea. It’s a good way to inject Luna into the scene, and it’s nice for Hyan to have back-up against the Doctor and Persephone.
RATING: ***1/4

Post-match, the bad girls continue the attack, but Queen Aminata is here to clear the ring! We get a graphic showing us that Persephone is defending her TBS Title against Dani Luna, Hyan, AND the Queen on Saturday! Sweet!

The main event is up, next!

BREAK IN PROGRESS!

Mysterious promo post-break is mysterious! I wonder just who THAT could be! Don’t think so hard lol.

It’s time to decide number eight!

TNT Title Match & Clockwork Carnage Qualifier: Darby Allin (C) vs. CMLL World Champion Hechicero

So, if Allin wins this match, does that mean he gets a shot at the CMLL World Title?

Allin does the Raven corner sit as the bell rings. Allin plays keep away from the Alchemist and hits a springboard arm drag. Hechicero stops Allin and works over the arm of Darby. Allin looks to escape, but Hechicero keeps him grounded. Up kick from Allin, but Hechicero with a knee to the face of Darby. AH SHIT screams Darby as Hechicero heads to the top. Allin bites the hand of Hechicero and he traps his challenger’s arm in the top of the ring post while he punches away. Hechicero with a chop, and he picks up Allin and spins him out and Darby smashes his face off the apron. For the millionth time in his existence, Darby is DED as we hit our final break.

WINNER: Darby Allin (And still!)
TIME: 15:10
THOUGHTS: Predictable winner was predictable, but the match itself was a very good main event for Collision. Darby does what Darby always does; take a beating, but somehow always comes back to pull it out in the bottom of the ninth.
RATING: ***3/4
