Rey Fenix Comments on Loss To Chad Gable in WWE Intercontinental Title Match on Monday Night Raw

As previously reported, Chad Gable faced an old rival in Rey Fenix on this week’s WWE Raw. Gable defeated Fenix to successfully retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Fenix later commented on his loss yesterday (Oct. 14) via social media.

Rey Fenix wrote on his X account, “It simply wasn’t my night. The best man won, and that was Chad. What is true is that I won’t give up. I would love to face Chad one more time, and I’m ready to play Championship vs. Championship. #ANIMO #MexaKing #YoSoyLucha”

Fenix also currently holds the AAA World Cruiserweight Title. He’s been in the midst of a feud with Ricky Saints on WWE SmackDown. Additionally, Fenix beat Kit Wilson on this week’s edition of WWE Main Event.
