Latest Update On Sunil Singh Amid Recovery From Collapsed Lung
Sunil Singh gave a positive update on his recovery from a collapsed lung, saying that he’s now officially good to go. As noted, the WWE alumnus suffered the collapsed lung back in September at a Pure Power Wrestling event in Lethbridge, Alberta. He noted at the time that the doctor told him he was “very lucky to be alive.”
Singh posted to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he had been cleared to return, sharing a pic of himself giving a “thumbs up” with it. He wrote:
“It’s a big thumbs up. I’m happy to report I officially got cleared by my trauma Doctor today from my pneumothorax injury. Thank you to everyone, both far and near, that has reached out with well wishes, prayers and positive vibes. It’s been a strange 2.5 months with some uncertainties, however, anything is possible when you keep a positive mindset & keep the faith. ‘Conquer your mind. Conquer the world.‘ I’m looking forward to getting back into the ring and continuing this wrestling journey. I wear all my injuries like a badge of honor over the last 22 years. A lot of dreams, goals are left to accomplish. I hope you all continue to cheer on ‘The Bollywood Boyz! This highway man is ready to make towns. I couldn’t ask for a better way to start Diwali week than this news.”
Singh, real name Gurv Sihra, and his brother Harv were part of WWE as the Singh Brothers from 2016 until 2021. The two both had multiple runs with the WWE 24/7 Championship.
