CW Anderson was part of two ECW video games in 2000, and he recently recalled ending up in the games. ECW released Anarchy Rulz and Hardcore Revolution that year, and Anderson spoke about his inclusion in the games during his interview with Fightful. You can see the highlights below:

On being a video game junkie: “When I went to college to design video games, ‘cause I’m a huge video game [fan], 100%. Yep. I got drafted out of high school for Major League Baseball, and then when that fell through, I kind of went to college and that’s about the time I got into wrestling. I wanted to design video games. I’m still a video game buff today. I still play video games, but when they told us that we were going to be in a video game, Bill Wiles and I were the last two that were lit in that video game, but we had to sign paperwork saying we would not ask for royalties for this video game.”

On signing the paperwork: “27, 28 years old, I didn’t care. I just wanted to be in a video game, so that I could be in a video game and to see that character when they put it out there, we had to go to a claim to do the voiceovers. I remember being in this eggshell room and having to scream your lines. Just the technology at the time. I thought it was very cool to be in a video game, but to look at my character and my character looked like you took my face and put it on your thumbnail and smushed it. I saw a video of Sasha Banks saying that when she played the ECW video game, she was always me. She said it looked like I wet my pants because of it.”

On the two ECW games not being good: “Yeah, one was Anarchy Rulz, and I don’t even remember which one was first. Yeah, Hardcore Revolution. Yeah, it was two of those, and both of them were just ass. Man, they were not good at all. But to say I was in a video game, that was kind of cool and being in the Kings of Coliseum 2 video game in Japan was really cool, because their graphics were way better. Gameplay was better than that ECW one.”
