Teaser Released For Side Scroller Lucha Libre Legend of the Mask

Lucha Libre Legend of the Mask is coming next spring, and the first teaser for the side scroller beat ’em up game is online. Masked Republic released the teaser for the game on Tuesday, and you can check it out below.
The video game is developed by BC Media Lab and Hyperkinetic Studios in association with Masked Republic and is described as follows:
“The Legend of the Mask tells us of an unknown warrior chosen by an ancient Mask to inherit its power and become the mightiest luchador the world has ever seen. Fulfill the Ancient Prophecy by guiding a humble taxi driver to become the Legend of the Mask.”
Presents a unique combat mechanics that marry the elegant yet brutal art of lucha libre combat with 2D beat ’em up action
Defeat your enemies with a whole lucha libre move set with different types of attacks: Pommel, air, throw, pins/submission, plus real star signature, special and team moves
Chose from four main characters with their own unique stats and combat styles
Features some of the industry’s biggest Mexican Lucha stars by collaborating with Masked Republic like Konnan & Mr Iguana, and more to be announced soon
