Comment: In his first fight from the broken jaw and defeat at the hands of champion Kamaru Usman, Covington went right back to work. He was en route to a decision win over former champion and teammate Tyron Woodley when Woodley appeared to be injured and the ref stopped the fight. Afterwards, Covington called out both Usman and Jorge Masvidal.

Comment: Lima is Bellator’s welterweight champion and will try to do what Rory MacDonald could not – beat Gegard Mousasi and become the middleweight champion, too. Now, they will fight next month for the vacant 185-pound championship following February when champion Rafael Lovato forfeited the title due to his health. If Lima can pull off the win, he would join Patricio “Pitbull” Freire and Ryan Bader as Bellator fighters to hold two championships simultaneously.
