Alex Oliveira spoke with MMAjunkie about his win over James Moontasri at UFC on FOX 20 and more. Some highlights are below:
On moving back to 155: “I am very happy about this win, as I came from a loss. Now I want to go down a weight class and fight someone that is ranked.”
On utilizing his grappling during the fight: “It was the plan. He’s a good striker, so we planned all that, to make the control on the ground, and I did just what my coach said.”
On his win: “I’m quite happy. I was looking for the victory. I’m ready for the next one.”
