Arnold Allen Gets Five Month Suspended Sentence For Christmas Fight

Arnold Allen has received a five month suspensded prison sentence for his part in a drunken fight over Christmas. The Ipswitch Star reports that the UFC featherweight received the sentence, which is suspended for twelve months, in regard to the fight which went down in a Suffolk, England bar. He has also been ordered to pay £3,250 (approximately $4,200) in compensation to his victims, must do 150 hours of community service and is subject to one month of home curfew.

The report notes, that Allen, who was drunk, had originally tried to protect his girlfriend after she was in an altercation with another woman but then, per the judge, “went wild” after and “essentially ran amok.”

Allen last fought at UFC Fight Night 108, beating Makwan Amirkhani by split-decision.
