WWE executive Bruce Prichard is set to undergo neck surgery, per his Something To Wrestle collaborator, Conrad Thompson. During the latest edition of 83 Weeks, Thompson was asked a question about Prichard’s current status.
Thompson revealed that Prichard needs to undergo neck surgery, as he’s been having neck issues affecting his quality of life that need to be addressed. Thompson stated (via F4WOnline.com), “I don’t know that Bruce has revealed it, but Bruce has been dealing with a neck injury. It turns out that Bruce is going to have to have some surgery on that rascal, and he hadn’t been having the best quality of life recently.” Thompson continued, “He’s on the mend, he’s doing rehab and all that jazz, but he’s hurting for certain.”
He also noted that his neck injury stems from the television segment where The Ultimate Warrior attacked Brother Love (Prichard) on WWF Superstars in 1991. Thompson added, “He broke his neck, and he just found out just recently. All these years later.”
Bruce Prichard rejoined WWE in a behind-the-scenes creative role in 2019. He first joined WWE in 1987, later appearing on air as the televangelist Brother Love starting in 1988.
