Dana White Confirms That Sage Northcutt Is Leaving UFC

In an interview with UFC Unfiltered (via MMA Junkie, UFC President Dana White confirmed that the promotion has no plans to re-sign Sage Northcutt any time soon after his release. Northcutt’s last fight was a KO win over Zak Ottow at UFC Fight Night 133, pushing his winning streak to three.

White said: “We let Sage go. Sage is young, and Sage needs some work. Let him get some work in some other organizations, and we will see where this kid ends up in a couple of years. Maybe we will pick him back up again. His contract was up so we let him go.“
