Dana White has recommitted to the idea of a Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier fight. At the post-UFC 235 press conference, Dana White confirmed (per MMA reporter Chamatkar Sandhu) that Cormier will get his fight against Lesnar next.

“I think that Brock and Cormier want that fight,” White said at the presser. “I owe Cormier a lot. Cormier wants that fight so Cormier’s going to get it.”

When asked what timeframe the fight might takes place during, White admitted he wasn’t sure. “I have no clue,” he said. “I literally have not talked to Brock at all. He’s doing his WWE thing. He’s one of those guys that when he’s ready, he’ll call me. I don’t chase anybody around man, I make fights. And when people are ready to fight, they let me know. And if they’re not, we don’t talk.”

Lesnar is currently set to defend the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at WWE Fastlane. The idea of Lesnar vs. Cormier has been on the backburner, particularly after it was reported in January that Lesnar still owes the Nevada State Athletic Commission a fine in the amount of $250,000 over his failed drug test for UFC 200.
