David Branch Says He Has to Finish His Opponents

David Branch spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight with Clifford Starks at WSOF 30. Some highlights are below:
On finishing fights: “It’s a part of my job, not only to win, but it’s a part of my job to be entertaining. And entertaining, people want to see finishes. People want to see reenacted deaths, and I’ve got to supply that to them…This is a gladiator sport. I can’t go out there and not put my gladius through a guy’s chest. I’ve got to finish him.”
On his fight with Starks: “Only knockout and submission. Once he enters the cage, that’s the only way he’ll leave.”
