Diego Sanchez Calls Out Critics Of His UFC on ESPN+ 25 Fight

February 17, 2020 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Diego Sanchez is none too pleased about the way he’s been criticized over his fight at UFC on ESPN+ 25, and took to Instagram to call said critics out. Sanchez garnered some heat from media and fans over the end of the fight, which saw him take an illegal knee to the head from Michel Pereira. Sanchez was asked if he was able to continue and said he couldn’t see because of blood from the cut on his forehead, then was denied a request to talk to his coach. Sanchez ultimately said he couldn’t continue and Pereira was disqualified.

The events saw Sanchez get some criticism over how the whole thing played out. Among them was Joe Rogan, and Sanchez’s coach Joshua Fabia responded to the criticism with a tweet that Sanchez screenshot, which read:

“It’s really awesome you and Joe Rogan know how to talk s**t without saying my name. But make sure it’s in metadata to be connected and found in search engines. You think you’re slick. I am aware of what you are doing and you will be exposed for your biases. Very classy smear campaign. You guys are real gentlemen. Got to tell you, I really feel the love.”

Sanchez shared a screenshot of that and captioned it:

“When the media is bullying don’t allow them to get away with it, call them out on there s**t publicly! Go read the comments in on the recent post about listen to the STRANGE corner advice I received!”
