Donald Trump Wishes Colby Covington Luck at UFC Vegas 11, Says He’ll Be Watching
Donald Trump has unsurprisingly expressed his support for Colby Covington ahead of Covington’s fight with Tyron Woodley at UFC Vegas 11. Covington posted a video from Trump’s campaign rally in Las Vegas of himself with the president, during which Trump wished the fighter good luck and said he’d be watching.
“I’m going to be watching Colby. I’m a big fan of Colby,” Trump said. “He is a winner. He is a champ. And it’s going to be a great evening and a great fight. I wish him the best of luck. I’ve just seen him a lot and he is tough. Good luck champ.”
Covington is a longtime supporter of the president’s, and vice versa. Covington is looking to get to his winning ways after a loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 in December. UFC Vegas 11 takes place this weekend and airs on ESPN+.
