Drew Dober Wants a Rematch With Leandro Silva
UFC fighter Drew Dober spoke with reporters in a post-fight media scrum at UFC 195 (via MMAjunkie) following his win over Scott Holtzman. Dober won the fight by unanimous decision. Dober also expressed wanting a rematch with Leandro Silva after their first fight was ruled a No Contest. Dober initially lost the fight by submission, but it was overturned when the submission was ruled a referee error. Below are some highlights from the scrum.
Dober’s thoughts on the win: “It’s one small step. We got to keep moving forward. We’ve had some ups and down, and either you win or you learn. I’ve had a lot of learning experiences.”
Dober on his camp Team Elevation: “Team Elevation, we have the complete package. We have teammates, we have coaches, we have training environment, and MusclePharm provides up with what we need as far as recovery and a facility. We have to make use of the resources we have.”
Dober on wanting a rematch with Leandro Silva: “I’ll go back to square one, get another fight, and fix the mistakes (I made). There’s a controversial no-contest I would like to get back, and I would like to fight Leandro Silva again. So that way that no-contest and one of his most recent wins – I think I can get two losses, or my 2015 back.”
