Joao Zeferino Thinks He Can Finish Jon Fitch At WSOF 30

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Joao Zeferino (20-7) said he thinks he will be able to finish Jon Fitch (27-7-1) when the two fight at WSOF 30 for the vacant welterweight title. The event happens this Saturday from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Here are highlights:

On his fight with Jon Fitch: “I always watch how my opponents fight; how they win and how they lose, of course. But I definitely have my own style for this fight. I think I have all the tools to beat him. I was chatting with Demian Maia the other day. He had a really good fight with him. He didn’t finish the fight, but he dominated from the beginning. That’s a match that I watch a lot.”

On if he will finish Fitch: “Yes, I can (finish Fitch) and I will. I don’t care, man. Striking or jiu-jitsu, I don’t care. I can finish him and I will finish him.”
