John Dodson Says He Wants A Rematch With TJ Dillashaw

In an interview with MMA Junkie, UFC bantamweight John Dodson said he’s hoping to get a rematch with TJ Dillashaw. This interview happened before Dodson’s fight with Petr Yan at UFC on ESPN+3, which he lost by unanimous decision. Dodson and Dillashaw last fought at The Ultimate Fighter 14 finale in 2011, which Dodson won via TKO (punches).

He said: “I’m going to beat up T.J., make him move down, and then go ahead and beat up Marlon (Moraes), because Marlon is the one running his mouth saying he doesn’t want to fight T.J. because he lost to a little boy. But in retrospect, Marlon didn’t beat me. I dropped him in the first round and took him down through the whole fight. He knows as well as I do.”

Of course after his loss to Yan tonight, he might not be in a good position to call his next shot.
