Hello everyone and welcome to 411mania’s LIVE coverage of UFC 327, I’m Robert Winfree and I’ll be your host. The UFC had a less than stellar first quarter of 2026, and thus far April has been spotty but this numbered event is quite good on paper despite losing the co-main event last week. The main event is for the vacant light heavyweight title, Alex Pereira vacated the title to get a shot at the interim heavyweight belt, and now former champion Jiri Prochazka takes on surging Carlos Ulberg. Ulberg was due a title shot with his winning streak and in lieu of Pereira being around a former champion and respected fighter like Prochazka is a perfectly fine dance partner. This division is still kind of a mess but hopefully we can at least get some interest and stability at the title level. Beyond that Paulo Costa is moving up to light heavyweight against top contender Azamat Murzakanov, Josh Hokit is getting launched up the rankings to fight number 5 Curtis Blaydes in just Hokit’s third UFC bout. Dominick Reyes vs. Johnny Walker will be funny, and arguably the last WEC veteran still going in the form of Cub Swanson will have his retirement fight. It’s a little debatable if he’s the literal last one since I think technically Rani Yahya is still on roster but the narrative is the last ride of the WEC vanguard so that’s what they’ll be running with. On the prelims Patricio “Pitbull” Freire takes on Aaron Pico in a battle of Bellator veterans, Mateusz Gamrot battles Esteban Ribovics, honestly this is a pretty rock solid card from top to bottom on paper. Now let’s just hope the action lives up to the promise.
UFC 327 comes to the world from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, USA. We’ve got Jon Anik, Joe Rogan, and Daniel Cormier on commentary with Bruce Buffer as announcer and Megan Olivi doing the roving reporter bit. We’ll be in the normal 30 foot cage as well as have the new rules in effect. Specifics of instant replay might still vary a bit by jurisdiction so if anything new comes up I’ll be sure to update you all.
Charles Radtke has gone 4-2 in the UFC, most recently he got a win and now looks for his first winning streak in a couple of years. Francisco Prado has gone just 1-4 in the UFC and is on a three fight losing streak, he really needs a win here if he wants to salvage his time with the promotion. The odds like Radtke at -180 to Prado’s +150.
Welterweight Bout: Francisco Prado (12-4, 170 lbs.) vs. Charles Radtke (11-5, 170 lbs.)
ROUND ONE: Prado is an inch taller while Radtke has three inches of reach advantage, Radtke is also 12 years older. Prado looks to stalk forward early. Both men probe a bit with the lead hand then Prado with a calf kick and a left hook. Body kick from Prado. Stiff jabs from Radtke in close then he hits a knee tap into top position. Radtke looks to pass but Prado moves to full guard. Prado tries to get up but gives up the back, Radtke has one hook in then handcuffs one of Prado’s arms to get Prado to turn and give up the ride position. Wall walk from Prado, Radtke holds the back as they stand then moves with a granby roll from Prado and has one hook on the back again. Radtke might be attacking a kimura, it’s a little awkward and he loses the grip but does get on top in half guard. Some punches from Radtke land. A few body to head punches from Radtke, Prado then partially wall walks before rolling for a kneebar but Radtke is able to defend. Prado can’t keep a bite on the leg and Radtke gets back on top in half guard. Elbows from Radtke and that’ll close the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Radtke
ROUND TWO: Bit of a jab from Radtke. Prado is struggling to land this round. Radtke with a few jabs. Double leg from Radtke, he gets Prado down and gets to the ride right away. Both hooks in now for Radtke, Prado is able to quadpod up but Radtke rides him back to his knees. Again Prado quadpods up but can’t shake Radtke off, Radtke grabs at a double wrist lock but I’m not sure what he could actually attack from this position. They slip to the mat and Radtke gets a body triangle. A few punches from Radtke, he’s just trying to annoy him and open up a choke attack. Prado is able to spin into Radtke and get on top in full guard. Short elbows from Prado, Radtke tries an armbar but there’s not much there and Prado moves to half guard. Radtke hip escapes to full guard then Prado drops some elbows to the body. Those are nice, elbowing the body is underappreciated in MMA. Radtke lands a few short elbows from the bottom and has cut up Prado. There’s a fair amount of blood coming from Prado. Both men throw some more elbows on the mat as the round ends.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Radtke but a closer one, 20-18 Radtke overall
ROUND THREE: That cut to Prado is on the forehead so unless it’s super deep it’s unlikely to cause a stoppage. Prado gets back to moving forward and walks into a left hook. Calf kick from Prado then Radtke lands a right hand. Prado with some body blows in close. Radtke lands a right hand. Prado pokes Radtke in the eye so we’ve got a time out. Replay confirms the poke, that was a pretty bad one. The doctor is in to check on Radtke, he doesn’t seem to have an injury but he’s taking time to recover. There’s actually a “take a point” from the crowd. Radtke can continue and the ref does take a point, he warned Prado before about his hand position then we’re back to fighting after around 3 minutes. Some body blows from Prado then he avoids a double leg. Body kick from Prado. They tie up, Radtke looks to level change but has to settle for grabbing a front headlock. Prado slips free and they trade punches. Both men land jabs then Radtke lands a left hook. Prado misses a calf kick then eats a one two. Left to the body from Prado. Radtke hits a double leg but Prado grabs a guillotine on the way down. It’s pretty tight and Prado sells out cranking on the choke, Radtke struggles but is able to hand fight and break the choke. Some slow motion body to head punches from Radtke. Elbow from Radtke. Radtke is able to pass to half guard. Prado tries to wall walk and Radtke lands some punches from half guard. Radtke moves to the back, both hooks in and grabs a choke but loses the grip. Arm triangle transition from Radtke but Prado avoids that and gets on top then throws punches as the round ends.
SCORECARD: 9-9 DRAW after the point deduction, 29-27 Radtke overall
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Charles Radtke via unanimous decision (30-26 x3)
The third could go to Radtke. Mic time for Radtke, he plays with the crowd a bit then puts over Prado and says the guillotine was very tight. He says he was in the nosebleeds not long ago and now he’s talking to Joe Rogan. Asked about the future he insults the crowd but clearly in a more congenial way and the crowd seems amused and to play with him instead of boo him.
Kelvin Gastelum has been with the UFC for just a couple days shy of 13 years and has gone 14-10 with 1 No Contest during that time. More recently Gastelum has gone 3-4 but he’s coming off of a win and is looking for his first winning streak since 2018. Vicente Luque used to be a very under appreciated guy at welterweight, but now he’s just 2-5 in his last seven fights and is on a two fight losing streak. Luque really needs a win because another loss would probably signal his exit from the promotion, he’s been here since 2015 and at this point if he’s slipping there’s not much value in keeping him around. Gastelum is a solid favorite at -280 to Luque’s +220 comeback.
Middleweight Bout: Kelvin Gastelum (20-10 1 NC, 185 lbs.) vs. Vicente Luque (23-12-1, 185 lbs.)
ROUND ONE: Luque is two inches taller with four inches of reach advantage. Southpaw for Gastelum, both men come out looking to box a bit. Gastelum with a left to the body then head. Luque lands a body kick then goes southpaw to land a calf kick. Another leg kick from Luque. Gastelum is backing Luque up and throwing left hands, Luque is blocking most of them so far. Left to the body from Gastelum. Gastelum hits a double leg, Luque immediately moves to his knees and Gastelum grabs a front headlock. Eventually Luque stands into a clinch and Gastelum lands a knee to the body. They break without incident. Right hand from Luque. Luque with a combination that drops Gastelum, he gets on top and fires some hammer fists but Gastelum has full guard and ties him up to recover. Some elbows from Luque land. Gastelum tries a triangle, Luque escape and then wraps a front headlock. Luque’s front headlock series is really dangerous, Luque rolls for an anaconda choke and Gastelum taps.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Vicente Luque via Submission, anaconda choke, at 4:08 of Round 1
The First Round Finish Club thanks Mr. Luque for his work. Mic time for Luque, he talks about Florida being his home so this means a lot to him then thanks his family for their support and says we’re winners forever in Christ. He talks us through the finish and puts over Gastelum. Asked about now being at middleweight he says he’s staying at this weight class, he’s had too many weight cuts and it’s become too troubling for him at this point. To close he puts over his team.
Vicente Luque locks in the choke and gets Kelvin Gastelum to tap

MarQuel Mederos is on a nine fight winning streak including being 3-0 in the UFC, he’s looking to firmly entrench his prospect status and maybe start moving towards being a contender by the time the year is up. Chris Padilla is on a seven fight winning streak including four UFC wins, he did miss weight here which isn’t good but another win would smooth that over and prove Padilla should be ready for a step up in class next. With the weight miss factored in Padilla closed as the -155 favorite to a +130 on Mederos that should tempt a few bettors.
Lightweight Bout: MarQuel Mederos (11-1, 155 lbs.) vs. Chris Padilla (17-6, 158 lbs.)*

More low kicks from Padilla then a right hand. Now Padilla shows southpaw on occasion. Some more calf kicks from Padilla then a right hand. Right to the body from Mederos. Body kick from Padilla. They tie up and Padilla pushes things to the fence then throws knees to the body. Short elbow from Padilla as they break. Mederos throws elbows in close, he can’t land punches around the guard so this is a good adaptation. Both men land in close again. Padilla jabs into a clinch and they trade elbows again. Eye poke to Padilla so we’ve got a time out. Padilla is good after 20 seconds at least so we’re back to going at it. Both men land in the pocket, Padilla’s volume is still doing work though. Elbow from Padilla. Mederos fires a few punches then eats a calf kick. Elbow from Mederos. Padilla blocks a few punches then lands an inside leg kick. Front kick from Padilla then he pushes into a clinch. A few knees from Padilla then they break and trade elbows. Mederos lands a left hand. Padilla with a right hand. They trade elbows then Mederos lands a right hand. Knee from Padilla then a left hand. Padilla lands a right hand. Mederos lands a knee in close. Padilla avoids a takedown and lands an elbow. Right to the body from Padilla. They tie up and trade elbows then Padilla knees the body. More elbows from Padilla as he’s still just pressuring forward. Mederos might be fading and Padilla keeps chopping at him and pressuring him. Another tie up and elbows are traded then Mederos lands a knee but he poked the eye when pushing off so we’ve got a time out. The ref takes a point from Mederos before they restart. Both men land punches again. Right hand from Padilla. Padilla with a right hand. Mederos lands a left hook. Padilla pushes into a clinch and lands an elbow. Another elbow from Padilla. Mederos lands a leg kick. They both swing in close, Padilla lands knees and Mederos an elbow as the round ends.
SCORECARD: 10-8 Padilla after the point deduction, 30-26 Padilla overall
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – DRAW, majority, (29-27 Padilla, 28-28 x2)
Fun fight there but those scores are weird, I don’t agree with Mederos getting the first or the third. Mic time for Padilla (this was originally announced as a majority decision for him) and he sends love to his family and the people then says he’s still coming for more. Rogan brings up the wild pace of this fight and he puts over his team for making sure his cardio was on point, the man is clearly tired and after throwing 300 strikes over three rounds I can’t blame him.
Tatiana Suarez has been with the UFC since 2016 but has just nine fights for them in that 10 year period. Suarez failed to win the title last year but rebounded with a win over Amanda Lemos and if she can win again here one has to imagine she’ll be right back in the title picture. Loopy Godinez has gone 9-5 in the UFC but she’s coming off of her highest profile win when she bested former champion Jessica Andrade. If Godinez can add Suarez to her resume then she’ll be the one putting herself into the title conversation. The odds like Suarez at -160 to a +135 comeback on Godinez.
Strawweight Bout: #6 Loopy Godinez (14-5, 116 lbs.) vs. #2 Tatiana Suarez (11-1, 116 lbs.)

Some short punches and elbows from Suarez. Godinez is able to shrimp to full guard but she’s struggling to start getting up. Suarez with some punches and elbows. Body to head punches from Suarez. Suarez with some more punches then she stacks Godinez up as the round ends.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Godinez but could go either way
ROUND TWO: Godinez looks to stay at range, she throws a high kick but it doesn’t land. Suarez punches into a clinch and lands a knee. Another knee from Suarez and she grabs a front headlock. Suarez switches to a single leg as they hit the fence but she settles into a clinch. Godinez tries to roll for a leg, Suarez blocks that and mat returns her then gets the back with both hooks in. Choke from Suarez, Godinez tries to hand fight but Suarez can try this one handed. Suarez adjusts a few times and Godinez has to tap.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Tatiana Suarez via Submission, rear naked choke, at 2:29 of Round 2
Mic time for Suarez after that win, she is happy to be able to fight and win. She puts over Godinez and knew the fight would be tough. Asked about the future she wants another shot at the title now that Zhang Weili isn’t champion. To close she mentions losing her brother recently and dedicates the win to him.

Oh, we’ve got an update on the Padilla and Mederos. It was a majority draw.
Mateusz Gamrot has gone 4-2 in his last six fights but he’s coming off of a loss to Charles Oliveira and now tries to defend his ranking. Esteban Ribovics has gone 4-2 in the UFC but he’s demonstrated a penchant for exciting fights and now looks at getting the biggest win of his career. Gamrot is your favorite at -220 to a +185 for Ribovics.

Gamrot switches to side control, I think he didn’t like the position. Ribovics gets half guard but Gamrot lands elbows while threatening to mount him. A few more strikes land for Gamrot then he grabs an arm triangle and locks it up until Ribovics has to tap.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Mateusz Gamrot via Submission, arm triangle choke, at 4:19 of Round 2
Mic time for Gamrot, he plays with the crowd a bit then says this is the second time in a row he’s fought unranked guys and wants to fight Diego Lopes if Lopes is going to move up in weight. He puts over his team then talks us through the finish and says he’s still aiming at the top of the division. He closes with some Polish for the people back home and sends love to his family.
GAMROT GETS THE TAP

Kevin Holland has gone just 2-4 in his last six fights and is on a two fight losing streak, he’s trying to halt that skid and maybe find some consistent success this year. Randy Brown has gone 14-7 in the UFC and has gone 4-2 in his last six fights, though in his last bout he was knocked out by Gabriel Bonfim. He’s likewise trying to find some momentum and is trying to avoid his first ever losing streak. Very close one here, -120 on Holland to an even +100 for Brown.
Welterweight Bout: Randy Brown (20-7, 171 lbs.) vs. Kevin Holland (28-15 1 NC, 171 lbs.)

OK, I’m not sure about giving Holland the third. Mic time for Holland, he’s surprised that Brown survived that choke in the second. He needed a fight after six months off and is happy to have been in one tonight.
The announce the Forrest Griffin Community Award Winner for this year, and it’s Alex Pereira for his work with children’s hospitals in Brazil.
Patricio Pitbull is a longtime veteran of the sport and probably the best fighter Bellator produced, he’s gone 1-1 in the UFC though. Pitbull is coming off of a win and looks for his first UFC winning streak. Aaron Pico has had a very odd career, he was a much hyped prospect early but he’s never quite reached his potential. In his UFC debut he was knocked out cold by Lerone Murphy and it could well be do or die time for Pico, another loss could be crippling to his career. Pico closed as the -270 favorite to a +220 comeback on Pitbull that might tempt some bettors out there.
Featherweight Bout: #13 Patricio “Pitbull” Freire (37-8, 145 lbs.) vs. Aaron Pico (13-5, 145 lbs.)

Front kick from Pico. Pico with a right hand then a bit of a left hook. Pitbull has a high kick blocked then he avoids a takedown into a clinch. No interview for Pico, which seems like a missed opportunity.
Cub Swanson has been fighting since 2004, he joined the WEC promotion in 2007 and has been with the UFC since they absorbed that promotion in 2011. This is Swanson’s retirement fight but he’s entering it off of a win and could end his career on both a winning streak and a high note tonight. Nate Landwehr has gone just 1-3 in his last four fights and is on a two fight losing streak having taken stoppage losses to Doo Ho Choi and Morgan Charriere. Landwehr really needs a win here as another loss would likely establish his ceiling pretty firmly. The odds on this one have been back and forth, ultimately Swanson closed at -130 to Landwehr’s +110.
Featherweight Bout: Nate Landwehr (18-7, 145 lbs.) vs. Cub Swanson (30-14, 146 lbs.)

Dominick Reyes is one of those truly odd “what if” stories, he very nearly defeated Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title in 2020 but the followed up that controversial decision loss by getting knocked out three times in a row. He did rebound with a three fight winning streak but most recently was knocked out by Carlos Ulberg and now he needs to avoid another losing streak if he still harbors championship ambitions. Johnny Walker just broke a three fight winless streak by besting Zhang Mingyang, now he’s looking for his first winning streak since 2023 and to move a bit further up the rankings. Reyes closed as the favorite at -170 to +140 for Walker.

Josh Hokit is undefeated including two UFC wins, he’s getting moved up the ranks incredibly quickly with this booking but if he can get by a tough veteran like Blaydes he’ll be poised to really shake up the division. That was far from the highest display of skill but man what a wild affair, that’s almost certainly Fight of the Night. Also no problem with Blaydes getting the first round.
