Luke Rockhold Out of UFC 230, Jacare Souza Steps In

Luke Rockhold is out of his fight with Chris Weidman at UFC 230. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza will step in to face Weidman in Rockhold’s place. Rockhold has been forced out due to an injury.
Dana White confirmed the switch to ESPN following initial reports and a statement from Weidman:
I am focused on this fight. I’ll be at MSG on Nov 3. Doesn’t matter who they put in front of me. I’m getting my belt back. My management and ufc will figure the rest out.

UFC 230 takes place on November 3rd at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The main card airs on PPV after preliminary fights on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
