Matthew Lopez Plans to Put His Name Out There at RFA 37

Matthew Lopez spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight with Eli Finn at RFA 37 on Friday. Some highlights are below:

On his goal for the fight: “You don’t want to be in the middle of the pack. You want to have your name out there, so that’s what I set out to do.”

On wanting to make an impression: “It puts a lot of pressure on me with those guys being out there. I definitely want to make an impression on them, but it’s good pressure. It’s not bad pressure. So yeah, it’s exciting. It’s exciting. Hopefully something good comes out of it and I take the next step to the UFC.”
