Melvin Guillard Has Arrest Warrant Issued for Bar Brawl in Denver
TMZ reports that former UFC fighter Melvin Guillard was allegedly involved in a brawl at a Colorado bar earlier this week. Guillard allegedly attacked and knocked out a man in the bar, and police are now said to be pursuing him for an arrest.
Surveillance footage shows Guillard apparently getting into a fight with several people at Bar Standard in Denver, Colorado at 2:00 am on Monday morning. The footage appears to show Guillard hit a person in the face, who then falls to the floor cold.
A female patron then tried to attack Guillard in retaliation, who Guillard also hit. A Denver Police Department spokesperson stated that several witnesses identified the attacker as Guillard. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Guillard previously appeared on Season 2 of The Ultimate Fighter. He later joined the UFC roster and was a prominent fighter in the lightweight division. He last fought on July 29 at RIZIN 11, losing to Takanori Gomi.
