As a result of her win, MMA Fighting also reports that Antonia Shevchenko will join her younger sister Valentina in the UFC. Te Edwards was also awarded a contract.

Shevchenko said: “This means so much to me, I am so proud. We’ve had brothers in the UFC and now we have sisters.”

Edwards added: “I got a nasty right hand and people don’t seem to move their face out of the way.”
