UFC flyweight Ray Borg has been sued by his former management team, who have made allegations of fraud, breach of contract and more. MMAJunkie reports that Wild Bunch Management LLC has filed suit against Borg claiming he skipped out on their contract and owes the company back pay for the UFC contract they negotiated on his behalf.

The suit alleges that Borg was signed to a three-year management deal with the company and that Borg agreed to pay 20% of his gross earnings under $9,999 (including show money, win money, and bonuses) and 10% for any earnings over $10,000 in addition to a New Mexico gross receipts tax. The company further says they negotiated a five-fight deal with the UFC for Borg, but that Borg severed the contract after the first fight.

Wild Bunch claims that Borg violated a non-compete agreement by by teaching within a fifty-mile radius of a facility from Fit NHB, which Wild Management owns, within a year of his departure.

The suit alleges that Borg committed fraud, breach of contract, and theft of trade secrets. They are seeking “actual, incidental, consequential and punitive damages” as well as doubled damages for theft of trade secrets, court costs, and pre- and post-judgement interest.

Borg’s lawyer told MMAjunkie, “(Borg) honors his deals. This is not something where they’re entitled to money. What they’re doing is claiming a guy that’s risen and been successful, and he switched (gyms) so he would better his career. But he didn’t break a contract. I don’t think they have any leg to stand on. I think they’re going to end up paying a bunch of cost on a frivolous lawsuit because they want to take from a guy that’s been successful.”
