Scott Coker Says Bellator 157 Improved Over First Dynamite Show

Scott Coker spoke with MMAjunkie about Bellator 157: Dynamite 2’s success and more. Some highlights are below:

On the show making an improvement over the first Dynamite: “I think that the fights really delivered here – better than the first one we did. I was proud of the first one – it was our homecoming back in San Jose since I took over the company. But I think the fights here … we had some of the greatest martial artists, some of the greatest fighters in the history of our sport fighting tonight, and I think it delivered. I think it was a great show, and the fans got a little bit of everything. And that’s why we call it ‘Dynamite’ – it really was a dynamite show.

On Bellator Kickboxing’s future: “I’ll put this in my pocket as a great memory. I really think there’s a place for kickboxing in martial arts combat. Spike TV loves it, I love it, and it’ll be part of our programming going forward. … It’s something that’s going to be in our programming.”
