WSOF: Who’s The Toughest? To Hire Two Military Veterans For WSOF 35 Fight

MMA Junkie reports that World Series of Fighting has announced “WSOF: Who’s The Toughest?”, which will will help the fighting careers of military veterans wanting to compete in MMA. The first two recruits will fight at WSOF 35 on November 12 (the same night as UFC 205 in New York City), one day after Veterans Day. A fight venue has not been selected. It will likely air on NBCSN. WSOF President Ray Sefo and other officials will met with and recruit possible fighters in gyms with a tour that begins next month in San Diego.

Sefo said: “We are looking forward to embarking on this venture that will allow us to give back to our armed forces that serve our country and protect our freedom.”

WSOF CEO Carlos Silva added: “As one of the major leagues in the sport of MMA with a national television platform in NBC and NBCSN, we have the ability to offer a potentially life-changing opportunity to fighters who are ready to make the jump, and we intend to leverage our position in the industry to benefit any veterans that show promise.“
