The A Quiet Place franchise is continuing, with a third film in the main franchise coming in a few years. Paramount Pictures announced on Tuesday that A Quiet Place Part III is in the works with a tentative 2025 release date set.
The film will be a direct continuation of the first two films which starred Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe and were written and directed by John Krasinski (who also co-starred in the first film). Cillian Murphy co-starred in the second film as well.
A separate spinoff in the universe is still moving ahead from Pig director Michael Sarnoski. That film is set to release next year.
A Quiet Place Part II was a huge hit when it released last May, grossing $296.7 million worldwide against a $61 million budget.
