American Horror Story: Double Feature Part 1 Trailer Teases Seaside Monsters
The trailer for the first part of American Horror Story: Double Feature is here, and hit has some serious Shining-meets-Cthulhu Mythos vibes. FX has released the trailer for the first part, titled “Red Tide,” which premieres on August 25th. You can check it out below.
The trailer centers on Finn Wittrock’s character, a writer dealing with writer’s block who moves his family including his pregnant wife (Lily Rabe) and young daughter (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) to the picturesque small town of Provincetown, Massachusetts hoping the change of locale will inspire his writing. The trailer shows that the town has some creepy things going on, and the young family is soon in deep trouble as Wittrock’s character starts to lose it, body parts end up on the beach, and monsters are breaking in through the windows. You can see AHS regulars Evan Peters, Leslie Grossman, Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd, and Angelica Ross in the trailer, along with franchise newcomer Macaulay Culkin.
This year’s AHS is themed “Double Feature” and will feature two separate stories.
