Anya Taylor-Joy Takes On the Apocalypse In Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Trailer

Anya Taylor-Joy is facing down the apocalypse in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and the first trailer shows off plenty of action. Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer for the Mad Max: Fury Road spinoff, and you can check it out below.

The trailer shows Taylor-Joy as Furiosa, the role played by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road. We also get a look at Chris Hemsworth as Dementus, a warlord who ends up with Furiosa in his group, as well as the returning Immortan Joe.

The standalone film releases on May 24th, 2024 and is described as follows:

As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
