Avengers: Endgame Moviegoer in China Sent to Hospital Over Crying Uncontrollably
Believe it or not, Avengers: Endgame reportedly drove one viewers to tears so much that she had to go to the hospital. According to a story reported by The International News, a 21-year-old moviegoer in China, 21-year-old Xiaoli, was watching the movie in Ningbo. The experience had her crying so much that she reportedly started showing signs of “hyperventilation” and having trouble breathing.
Xiaoli was later taken to the hospital and was given oxygen to help normalize her breathing. The emergency doctor at the hospital is quoted as saying, “I saw that the patient had been breathing heavily, and according to the description from her peers, we thought that she her crying had caused ‘hyperventilation’. We immediately gave her oxygen and relaxed her emotions by appeasement, reducing her hyperventilation symptoms.”
Avengers: Endgame is currently poised to break and set all sorts of box office records this weekend. The sequel already had a record-shattering opening day with $156 million.
