Bill Cosby Prison Gets Drone Flyover During His Yard Escort

TMZ reports that a drone device flew over Bill Cosby during his incarceration at the State Correctional Institute Phoenix in Pennsylvania. Cosby and Pennsylvania Prison official are said to be very angry about the flyover.

According to the report, a drone flew over the prison while Cosby was being escorted around the yard. He reportedly received an escort due to his blindness.

Prison security measures detected the drone, and then SCI Phoenix was then placed under lockdown for the whole day. Prison officials believe that a media outlet sent the drone to try and get a shot of Cosby in prison. Bill Cosby is currently serving a three-to-10-year prison sentence for sexual assault.

Cosby’s attorneys were reportedly notified of the breach. Pennsylvania prisons recently received drone detection systems last year as part of new security upgrades. The Department of Corrections commented that they do not discuss security matters.
