The Book of Boba Fett Confirmed as Spinoff Series, Set For Disney+ in December 2021

It’s really, truly official now: Boba Fett is getting his own spinoff series. Following the big end-credits stinger on the season two finale of The Mandalorian, Star Wars has announced that The Book of Boba Fett will arrive as a spinoff series in December of 2021.

The series is currently in production and will bring back Temuera Morrison as the titular bounty hunter alongside Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. Robert Rodriguez, who brought Fett into The Mandalorian with episode 14, is executive producing the series alongside Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.

The announcement added that The Mandalorian season 3 will go into production next year.
