Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Pictures released the official trailer today for the upcoming racing-themed film, F1, starring Brad Pitt. You can check out the newly released trailer below.

In the upcoming feature, Brad Pitt portrays F1 racer Sonny Hayes, dubbed “the greatest that never was,” and a once promising phenom of the 1990s, until an accident on the track derailed his career. Thirty years later, Hayes works as a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate, Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), who is the owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team that is on the verge of collapse.

Ruben convinces Sonny to return to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at glory and saving the team. He races alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team’s hotshot rookie intent on setting his own pace. But as the engines roar, Sonny’s past catches up with him and he finds that in FORMULA 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition—and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

The feature also stars Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem, and it was shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport. The film is due out later this June in theaters and IMAX. Warner Bros. is distributing the film worldwide. F1 is directed by Joseph Kosinski from a script by Ehren Kruger and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and Chad Oman.

F1 hits theaters domestically on June 27 and internationally on June 25.
