Bucky Makes His Presence Known In New Thunderbolts Preview

A new preview for Marvel’s Thunderbolts is online, with Bucky making his grand entrance and more. Marvel Studios unveiled the new preview for the antihero teamup film at D23 Brazil over the weekend and you can see it below.

The trailer starts with an extended look at the clip from the original trailer where the Winter Soldier seems to be coming to the rescue of the rest of the team, though in the end it doesn’t appear to be the case. The preview also features a lot more footage spotlighting Yelena, Bucky, Red Guardian, John Walker, Ghost, Taskmaster and Bob.

The film is directed by directed by Jake Schreier from a script by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo. It releases on May 5th, 2025 and stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman, and Olga Kurylenko. The synopsis reads:

Marvel Studios and a crew of indie veterans who sold out present Thunderbolts*, an irreverent team-up featuring depressed assassin Yelena Belova alongside the MCU’s least anticipated band of misfits.
