Deadline reports that CBS Sports has announced that it will stream Super Bowl LIII “across more platforms than ever,” including mobile networks and its subscription All Access service. The service had just started in 2016, when the network previously aired the game. It will be available for free on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app for TV devices, tablets and mobile phones.

CBS Sports Digital Executive Vice President and General Manager Jeff Gerttula said: “We’re looking forward to bringing this season’s biggest game to the biggest possible digital audience and building on the record-breaking Super Bowl streams we’ve delivered in the past. Streaming Super Bowl LIII across CBS Sports Digital and CBS All Access platforms is a win for NFL fans.

The NFL season begins on NBC this Thursday. Regular games will be streamed on CBS All Access, including mobile phones and tablets via the CBS App for iOS, Android and Windows 10, online at CBS.com, and on connected devices including Roku Players, Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Fire TV, Samsung Smart TVs and Amazon Channels. Fans can also stream CBS games, including the Super Bowl, on NFL.com and the NFL app. Verizon will stream games on phones and tablets through Yahoo Sports, Yahoo, AOL, Tumblr, and Complex.

NFL media and business chief Brian Rolapp said that it “is important that we reach everyone.” He said there were technology limitations for Facebook or Youtube live-streaming games, he expects them to be part of new TV deals to replace the ones expiring in 2022.
