The Conners Adds Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara and Jayden Rey

Roseanne spin-off The Conners has added the next generation back into the series. TV Line reports that Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara and Jayden Rey are set to appear as series regulars. Kenny and McNamara played Darlene’s kids Harris and Mark in the revived series, while Rey played DJ’s daughter Mary.
“The Conners are a family of acceptance and loyalty and I feel blessed to be able to help tell their story,” said Kenney. “I’m really excited to start this new chapter in mine and Harris’ life.”
The spin-off series will run ten episodes and is set to premiere on October 16th at 8 PM ET/PT. The logline teases that “the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before.” John Goodman has said in an interview that Roseanne Barr’s character “will be dead.”
